Fugue

“Fugue” is the story of one woman’s quest to remember her past, while, at the same time, on the run from it. Hillary wakes up one morning in a motel room she doesn’t recognize, next to a child she doesn’t recognize. It is five years later than her last memory, and strange clues in her bags do not add up to where she has been and what she has been doing. She doesn’t understand why she doesn’t remember, but the secret might lie in her three year old son, Cayce, who seems to demonstrate pyschic ability. But when Cayce is nearly kidnapped by strangers who seem to be following them, Hillary knows she must find a way to remember, to save herself and her child from danger, before she loses him forever.

High Black Water - IN PROGRESS

On August 11, 2016, one of the worst flooding events in Louisiana history hit the Florida Parishis and Atchafalaya Basin in Southern Louisiana. Largely ignored by the mainstream media, this is a firsthand account chronicling the devestaing event that left over 50,000 people displaced, more than 50% of homes damages in some areas, and no one untouched. Interviews with survivors, firsthand experiences with disaster and recovery and a gripping account of the unbreakable spirit of Louisiana is woven in this autobiographical account of a disaster worse than Hurricane Katrina.

Robicheaux Bayou Series - NOW HERE!

Deep in the swamps of Louisiana, a sleepy small town is the center point of real world crime and paranormal events. Town natives, Detective Jax Dupuis and Hailey Foret have returned, Jax to assist his father, the town Sheriff, in investigating a string of odd murders around town, and Hailey to care for her ailing, folk healer grandmother. Together, they join forces to discover what is lurking beyond the town in the swamps and bayous, and what it will mean for the town's, and their, futures.

A man is found dead out in the swamps. It looks like an animal attack, but Sherriff Frank Dupris isn't so sure. Summoning his son Jackson "Jax", a detective,  back to the small, sleepy Louisiana town of Robicheaux Bayou, Frank hopes that someone knows what happened to the stranger. Meanwhile, town native Hailey Foret, a criminologist turned novelist, returns to town to care for her ailing grandmother, a Cajun folk healer, and teams up with Jax to investigate the crime. Soon, it becomes apparent that they aren't dealing with a normal crime, or a regular criminal. Could these crimes happening all over town be committed by the legendary werewolf, the Loup Garou?
